Amazing trader on the net!

Wow, the internet is truly an incredible tool. You can find anything in an instant. You can listen to music until your ears are red. You can read about what's happening 3000 miles from your hometown. Who would have thought that something that was used by the army to communicate with the troups would end up connecting the whole world!

Today's web discovery is an 'old' story... Well it is yes and no... In fact, the story started in 2005 with a gentleman by the name of Kyle MacDonald who put a post on the internet because he wanted to trade a red paperclip. Against what, you might ask? In fact, anything! He just wanted to see what he could trade it for.
Ok, what's so funny and interesting with this story? Well, Kyle traded so well that he ended up with a house in Kipling, Saskatchewan, Canada, for free! And now he is willing to trade his house for something else!

The site I'm about to present you will certainly not win any big design awards. But then who cares! As long as it will make you laugh, that's the point.

Every day, Curious Animals shows something cute, funny or simply hilarious on their front page. Trust me, your kids will want to know what it is that's making you laugh and go: 'Oohh, Hiii, ha, ha, ha'! Need a little break from the hard demanding job, then head straight to Curious Animals. And don't just look at the first page, browse, browse! There are tons of funny, amusing animal pictures. Very relaxing website when all you need is to wind down...

Incredible digital pictures...!

Do you remember the 'good old days', not so far ago, when you went away for a week of two, brought your camera with you, took 120 pictures of your fantastic voyage only to find out upon your return home that half your pictures were useless?

I am almost sure that it happened to you... didn't it? Well nowadays, digital photography is totally incredible: caught aunt Emma offguard and she forgot to smile? No problem, take another picture. You thought you had the most sensational shot of your little nephew but he turned around as you were about to take the picture? Hey, easy, let's do it again!

If this is your situation, I have an amazing search engine for you: Viewzi. Okay, okay, calm down, I am not saying to get rid of all your search engines. No, no , no, but you know, once in a while something new comes around and you just have to go and take it for a spin!

My first Best Web Discovery deals with books. I would even say this web site deserves 5 stars! Today's site is totally amazing: it will help you categorize all your books as if you'd own a big, gigantic library. Navigating is extremely easy and the inferface is available in 30 different languages. I counted them! You will be able to enter in 'your' library all the books that you posess... Wow but you probably think that it's going to take forever, right! Well absolutely not, all you have to do is type in the ISBN number found at the back of each one of your book and voilà!

You will then be able to 'tag' your books, therefore making it extremely easy for you, your friends and anyone else using LibraryThing to find out how amazing your library is! You will also be able to comment your books and even give them stars, as in Hockey... Another great advantage of this site is joining bookclubs and this way, you'll have the opportunity to stay up all night and chat about books... LibraryThing will also provide you with a list of places where you can buy, trade, exchange or borrow any book until you run out of money... The subscription is totally free but for 25$ you can upgrade to a 'life' subscription. Hum, that's even less that a night out!

Another cool thing about this site is that there is no publicity whatsoever, quite rare nowadays...

And one of the coolest feature: you'll be able to read and comment books even before they hit the bookstores...

No really, LibraryThing is like the 'facebook' for books: interesting, fun and user friendly!
